About Schoolcandy
Schoolcandy Online Education started in 1999 by Jodie Haraga. The initial system was designed to improve education in Ms. Haraga's classroom. Soon other teachers noticed the benefits and the system was modified to accept more users. The system evolved based on teachers' real classroom needs: Simplicity, Ease of use, Time savings, Security, Reliability, Flexibility and the ability to Collaborate.

Schoolcandy Online Assignments and a Crossword Puzzle Generator were added in 2003.

Schoolcandy operates as a not-for-profit. It serves teachers and students in countries around the world.
